Frontline Yoga

Restorative based yoga classes designed to enhance the connection between body and breath.
Free for Frontline Workers (past & present)

Thursdays 11:50 am (70 minutes)

A free Restorative Yoga class for all Frontline workers (past & present) and their spouses.

This class is led by Kate in a trauma sensitive space where the body can safely process and release trauma. This class prioritises empowerment and choice to create a healing environment for everyone.

A gentle practice dedicated to constructive rest that emphasises ‘being’ rather than ‘doing’. Restorative practice makes extensive use of yoga props to create a fully-supported practice that allows students to mindfully rest deeply into the restorative postures. Classes include passive poses, supported inversions and guided mindful relaxation (I-rest).

This class is suited to anyone who desires a restorative practice, open to all ages and abilities. It is taught by a trauma-informed facilitator sensitive to the importance of creating a safe space for those who have experienced trauma.

Frontline Yoga offers best practice guidance on the delivery of Yoga to the First Responders, Emergency Services and Military Veteran community. Classes are FREE to all Frontline Professionals – Current | Ex-servicing | Retired – Police, Fire, Ambulance, Military, Healthcare Workers & Volunteer Emergency Services.

This is a non for profit class, any non-frontline workers are welcome to join for a donation to Frontline Yoga.
